Helping Lifelong Friends Stay Connected
Part of Sigma Nu’s Mission is “To perpetuate lifelong friendships and commitment to the Fraternity.” Our Ritual impresses upon us that membership in Sigma Nu is for life, and the Epsilon Sigma Chapter regularly hosts events and sends out communications to help alumni to stay in touch with each other, with the Chapter, and with Sigma Nu.
“Your association with Sigma Nu Fraternity does not end with college. Ours is a Fraternity for life. In fact, full appreciation for Sigma Nu does not come instantly; often it takes years to gain a complete understanding and appreciation. Rest assured that alumni experience and involvement in our Fraternity – on both the local and General Fraternity level – are essential ingredients in the successful operation of our international organization. No chapter survives for any length of time without strong and involved alumni backing.”
– The Legion of Honor
These words prove as true today as they were when first written. Sigma Nu alumni and volunteers play a vital role in the continued success of our Fraternity. The Chapter benefits tremendously from alumni involvement and all brothers are encouraged to remain involved.

The purpose of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter’s Alumni Advisory Board is to provide ongoing support and assistance to the collegiate chapter. Splitting the duties among several individuals lessens the time commitment for each alumnus, as well as increases the overall support available to the collegiate members.
The Epsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter offers assistance to the collegiate members of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter and encourages active alumni participation in the affairs of the General Fraternity.
The House Corporation, a Tennessee 501(c)(7) non-profit corporation, is the legal owner of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter house. The majority of the members of the House Corporation board are Epsilon Sigma Chapter alumni brothers whose role is similar to that of a landlord or property manager of the house.
All members who have passed away are kept in the Epsilon Sigma Chapter’s memory forever with our Chapter Eternal listing.
